Hey, does anyone know a good Korean language hagwon. I've found a few, but I don't know what's a good one. I'm pretty close to downtown so somewhere in that area would be ideal, but anywhere in Seoul would be helpful if you have any info???? I'm somewhere between basic and intermediate... |

I have been to Seoul Korean Language Academy off and on over the last couple years. (http://seoul-kla.com/engl/s1.htm)
Good hagwon.. kind owner. The presentation of the material is a bit dry.. and therefore it comes down to who you get as a teacher. I have found Korean instructors to be polar opposites.. either absolutely amazing or absolutely horrible with little in the middle.
Anyway.. happy studying. |

where are you close to?
I think that is the biggest question you should ask yourself. I live in Ilsan, and my school is located in Apgujeong (line 3 straight)
here is the link for my school:

PS: there is also a school at Ewha and in Gangnam do a google search |

how is your school? I can only do saturdays, i looked on the link and saw that it had a saturday intensive course. Is it something new they're starting up? or have they been doing saturday courses for a while, and do you know if people like it? I was initially looking at the one in gangnam, SKLA |

This place: http://www.kfcenter.or.kr/english/default.asp Does good free courses. It's just 2 hrs a week but I've noticed a big improvment since I've started. Plus it's free. Which I guess precludes it from being a Hakwon, though there''s still some good hak to be had. It's a City Hall exit 9. |

I'm going to YBM KLI (Korean Language Institute) pretty soon. Check out their ad in the Korea Herald for times (too many times to list). Or call them at 2278-0509. |
