I don't even know it any one has asked this and I have been trying to see if I can find it anywhere on this forum or area, but I haven't. 
This is going to sound sad, but I am wondering how does one go about in calling for a taxi?  Or any other fun information on taking a taxi. I should also say that I am living in a small village outside of Gwangju-si, Gyeonggi-do. I would really be happy if someone can give me tips, numbers, ideas, etc. Also is there a phone number for me to call if I want them to come pick me up? Thanks!

"Call taxi," as suggested above, is probably the way to go if taxis dont commonly cruise your village. Note that theres a 1000 won surcharge over the meter rate when you call rather than flag a cab.
You may have a further problem. If your village is at some distance from their normal driving area, drivers may want to charge you a flat rate. Thats customary but can sometimes be expensive. You can try negotiating (before taking the ride). |
