Ok, maybe im missing the obvious on this site - but i dont seem to be getting anywhere on the job front search for korea (and also taiwan/china if anyone knows about them).

I have worked in vietnam and thailand as well as cambodia (where it is cheap enough to just turn up then look in local paper for jobs).

Any google search though, on korea, china or taiwan just churns out :
out of date job sites
reams and reams of 'click here ads' to read and i just want to pick out main points
and i dont particularly like the way jobs are listed on this site either

All i am looking for is a short-ish contract and college-adult student age.
You would think one agency would have some sort of spreadsheet format with the headers - location /pay / hours / age of students / contract length / date of posting / end date of application blah blah - ON ITS MAIN (JOB) PAGE
wouldnt it would make life so mush easier?

anyway, does this type of site exist, or, even better is there something similar to newhanonian/ajarn/english written local publication - ONLINE - that lists current jobs with ALL the info i need to make a decision.

thanks for looking!
ps. i forgot to add my job around china/korea/taiwan is getting quite desperate (bit of a non-starter really) and im getting in a rut. yes, maybe because i dont have the patience to do a drawn out search. appreciate any advice.please dont just say - korea jobs are for 1 year - cos ive seen loads of out-of-date stuff for shorter periods (nb. i am not really looking for flight reimbursement)

and one more thing.

if i do have to join a recruiter can someone answer this ....

do recruiters in korea (china/taiwan) send out your CV to loads of schools without your permission.
i have heard lots of bad words about recuiters that i suspect they do this practice - but would they do it if i specifically asked them not to??
i think they should first tell the job seeker about a job - then i say its OK for them to send it.

its just that in another line of business back home, a recruiter sent out my CV everywhere. and when i applied for a job myself it turned out the company had it on file. that really annoyed me!

I've preferred http://www.worknplay.co.kr/jobseeker/jobSearchList.php in the past but they've changed recently.

Korean recruiters will do anything to make money. Yes, they'll send your resume to anyone and everyone.

If you have the cash, I recommend going to Korea for the job search. School will pay for the visa run to Japan. BUT, most people get their first teaching visa (E2) in their home country now. It's possible to do without going home but more time is needed....Check out previous posts. Don't forget your criminal records check.
