The EPIK orientation made me want to cut myself. The summer camps we are forced to work for no or little compensation makes me nauseous. I really like to work for money. Please don't reply to this post if you have some moral and ethical complaints about whatever. I am wondering... does anyone take their sick days during the camps as a way of avoiding them? How can I get out of the camps? Do you ever reject the camps all together? What happens? I really just don't want to do them. This PS job is like being demoted from my last job. I can't request summer vaca off until they determine where the camps fall on my schedule and I get treated like a wagook prostitute in the summer. My 6 months (good time to resign) are up August 25th but that happens to be after summer vacation. Also, for compensation, what do you get? In my city we get transportation money(?) lunch and money if they publish our lesson plans.(?) WTF
