I know these things can be sort of expensive in some places. But a friend of mine had one taylored for him here in Uljin for 250,000 won. I think that's a cheap hanbok. |

Try around the local markets. There's usually a woman who makes them. Ask about prices and fabrics. My mom had a modern style one made of linen several years back for 150,000 won. I've gotten a couple in Insadong for reasonable prices too. |

You should also try the flea market on a Saturday or Sunday on the blue line (line1). Get off at Sinseoldong exit 10, then turn around and there should be a ______pharmacy sign in both Korean and English. Turn right in front of the pharmacy and there is a road that leads to the flea market. I bought a nice hanbok for 20,000. Or you can also try www.auction.co.kr or www.gmarket.com
Then, just type in 한복. (hanbok) |
