|
|
My teacher gave me a sample of lotion the other day and I really liked it. I asked her where I could get more and she said "Oh, It's Skin." I asked her where an "It's Skin" is located and she said they are everywhere.
Does anyone know some specific locations for "It's Skin" stores in Seoul?
(preferably around Mok-dong but anywhere will do)
Thanks |

"Skin" is Konglish for certain types of facial cream. Instead of saying "it's lotion" or "it's skin cream," they say "it's skin."
"It rubs the lotion on its skin or else it gets the hose again." Now that movie was really about wearing skin. |

Is it at all possible that she meant it was from the "Skin Food" stores?
Did you keep the packaging for reference while shopping? If you posted a pic maybe we could help you identify the brand.... |

I'd never heard that Konglish phrase before.
But in this case I think it is the name of a store or at least a brand maybe? I looked at it again and on the bottom it says "It's Skin- Clinical skin solution"
I also just noticed there is a website
www.itsskin.com
unfortunately I do not know enough Korean to be able to read the site.
Any help would be greatly appreciated. |

If you go to the webpage:
1. Top menu (blue ruler-looking thing), scroll over the first option "It's skin"
2. Click on the 4th option in the little brown bar that pops up underneath. It's a map of the location.
It's near the intersection between Hak-dong station (green box on the left of the map) and Gangnam-gu Office station (green box on the right of the map).
The intersection has a Hana Bank on one corner (the light blue box, bottom left corner of the intersection on the map) and the opposite corner as a KB bank (light blue box, top right corner of the map)
It's next to the Imperial Palace Hotel.
Enjoy.
edit - read one of the stations incorrectly. My bad.

'tis a real store, but I don't near they are as popular as skin food, face shop, etude house, missha, tony moly, etc. They are around and it's not "oh it's skin" it's just.."It's Skin" I think I may have seen one around uijeongbu. Not positive and have never shopped there. |

haha, read your post this morning and was in Gangnam Station this afternoon and saw one and thought of this post. There's an "It's skin" store inside the station, about 3 stores from exit 8. |
