I live in a residential area of two story houses and apartments. One of my neighbours, a true friend of society, has decided to purchase a rooster. This rooster starts his cock-a-doodle-doing at 4am every morning and continues it through out the day. The 4am wake up call has been going on for about a month now. Originally i was hoping that someone else would complain, but no one else in the area seems to notice/care.
Are there any laws in this country to protect from things like this?/ is there a process for complaint? or should i just go round and introduce them to my Ozzy Osbourne impression?

Inform your neighbor that the rooster is bothering you. If the neighbor does nothing about it, set the rooster free (or kill it).

Of course the other dude won't get any complaints.

Killing the rooster and frying it up sounds like the right solution.

I live in such a similar kind of setting and my neighbor has a rooster too. I don't care much as I'm used to it due to growing up in a rural area, but right behind my apartment is a farm tractor/small engine repair shop that never takes a day off and goes from 8am to 8pm, 7 days a week. Even on Saturday, Sunday, and holidays, I hear the door of the shop being raised at 8AM just like on week days and then loud hammering, engine starting, power tools, and other mechanic sounds ensue. I'm so tired of it and wish those 3 guys would take Sundays and holidays off to let us have quiet relaxing days, but they're workaholics. They live to work and drink soju, instead of working to live and drink more soju.

Our rooster is also a cockaholic too who never forgets to cackle of a morning nor takes a day off.

Apparently there are no laws on noise and Koreans are fairly tolerant, but I'm sure they'd do something about it if you're English movies, talking, and music are too loud.
