I thought I'd post directions to this park as its quite nice and but a little hard to find.
If we look at the park on the map we can see a road coming in on the north, but its much further from the subway station than other entrances.
Coming in from the south is quicker:

come out of dongmyo exit 2 and walk straight, you'll see 2 things:

The temple sign and the beauty plex. Turn left there. If you want to go check out the temple take your first right and walk a few minutes up a steep hill. Its easier to check out the temple when you leave the park as you can leave via another exit and come downhill past the temple.
keeping walking straight up the road until you reach the end, you'll see this sign:

turn left and walk up the street, this is where you'll begin to doubt yourself. You've actually got to walk in between some houses to get to the entrance.
You'll see a set of stone stairs and this house:

You need to walk through here as its a small side street, about 50 feet from that little entrance is the park entrance. Should take you around 5-6 minutes to walk from the subway to there and you'll find yourself coming in Entrance #4 of the park

That's the one on the right. If you want to check out the temple, you can leave via exit 3 and turn right after you get out on the main road, you'll walk by the temple on the way back to the subway station.
Its a quiet secluded park. Wasn't too busy on a weekday afternoon. Fairly big with lots of side paths. Lots of exercise equipment, and basketball nets. I think I counted around 30 different exercise stations including free weights, an actual electronic exercise bike, and some of those standard machines you see around. They're spread all over the park, not all clumped together.
Here are a selection of images:

I even noticed some self-made paths and on one of them I found an old BBQ set up. Perhaps some people came out there to roast some meat on the weekends.
Here are a couple shots from the temple:

Also near exit 3 of Dongmyo is a traditional Korean market of sorts. I noticed one table where a guy was selling a couple acoustic guitars and some vinyl if anyone is interested in that kind of thing. |
