Hey, for those who are regualr visits to your local libraries I have a question about getting a library card. Later on this month I'll be moving to a new city and I hope to get in tune with the local library eventually after I get settled in. My main concern is that my Alien card still says that I live in my old city. Is having an address from a different city going to be a problem with obtaining a new library card in the new city? |

Yes. Your ARC needs to be updated with your current visa expriration date and residence. That's because the ARC functions as your library card after you register at your local library.
At least, that's the way it works in Busan. |

When I got a library card a couple months ago I was told I needed to also give passport-sized photo. They used it to make a separate library card.
Not sure about the city requirement, but you might want to bring your photo so you don't have to make the trip twice. |

It sounds like different cities have different requirements. Here in my current city: Masan all I needed was my ARC card and they made a seperate library card for me on the spot. Anyone know what the library card situation is like in Incheon? |
