Does anybody know of any weekend or evening classes (in English of course) that I could look into.
Pottery, yoga ... anything. Something besides a Korean language class.
Something that happens once or twice a week would be great.

sorry to intrude on your thread, but I am newb, am going to SK in the fall and am thinking Daegu might be a good place for me. info on this board about daegu appears minimal. Can I assume from this thread that the nightlife/activities available are lacking? how is the foreigner community? |

a lot of people are down on Daegu but I love it and have been here for a year. nightlife is good, it can get a little monotonous but its a big city and you can always try somewhere new. there are a lot of activities from sports to languages to whatever. i've met a number of cool foreigners, there is a pretty decent size of foreign teachers here in daegu. i would recommend it. |
