I was wondering if anyone had any information about either of these areas, and the distance from each to the main area of Seoul near City Hall.
Any details would be amazing, such as the party areas, good places to eat, where a close E-mart is. etc.
Thanks in advance!!! |

Ilsandong-gu is the area from Jeongbalsan to Baekseok (I think!)
Westerndom, La Festa, Homeplus, Emart & Costco.

Songpa area is about 40-50 min away from the City Hall area going by subway. It's a pretty low-key area compared to some other places, but depending on where you are, you're close to Olympic Park, Jamsil and Sincheon which have places to eat and shop at. And COEX at Samseong is a 15-20 minute bus ride.
The nearest Emarts from Songpa that I know of is in Cheonho (north) or somewhere in the Daechi area, though I've never been able to find that one. But Jamsil has a Lotte Mart and a Home Plus which takes care of the majority of my shopping needs.
Generally, it's a nice area, but a little far away if you're regularly going to Hongdae and the City Hall area. |
