I have been searching for some decent documentaries about the South Korean involvment in Vietnam - 300,000 soldiers did a tour of duty meaning that a lot of the adjosshis here have an interesting tale to tell! Shocked

However - I came across a really interesting documentary about the 1st Royal Australian Regiment as the were the first Australian batallion to see active service in Vietnam in 1966. Film by the commonwealth film unit.

I have an uncle in law here that served in Vietnam and has been suffering the effects of agent orange for many years. It's heartbreaking to see the old guy on family holidays. sad stuff.

There is definitely a dearth of information on Korea's involvement in the Vietnam War. There are some hokie korean fictitious films. I read an account on the White Horse Brigade which was hstorical fiction. Not too bad. Im always looking for books on the subject.
The Koreans were brutal and truly feared by the Vietnamese. The Discovery Channel is running a series now called War in Indochina in Color. They had a little snippet about the brutality of the Korean Green Dragon Brigade.
