What exactly is the problem? Is it a lack of a credit card or something? Where did you run into problems? I am more than willing to help. I just need some details.... |

The herbal healing book is available at Whatthebook, a Korean outlet. Delivery within ten business days. You can use a Korean bank or credit card. I've ordered from them before, delivery was fairly quick.

In the past I have not been happy with my medical care here and went to some effort to find a doctor I was happy with -- there definitely out there, but it takes some digging. In my case, I went to Samsung hospital in Seoul. I have the best specialist in the country.
I think the information you want on Cortisol is most likely available online. If you PM me with your particular question, I will try to steer you in the right direction.
Also, I think that there are onlince consultation services where, for 15-20 dollars you can consult with a western physician via email. You might want toi try that. |

Thank you for the info Trevor.
My niece has been diagnosed with Adisson's disease 6 months after her birth and doctors just give her medication to survive the day since there is no sure cure to this disease. We are trying to find information about the disease that's why we need to buy the book as many of the Western forums of Adisson's patients recommend the books.
As for questions, we don't know what to ask...as we are ignorant and just rely to the doctor for her medications. But we felt that my niece is being used like an experiment since this disease is so rare in Korea. The doctor attenting her is the best in this field as we've been told but he's cold and he doesn't give us information more than what he already told us in the past.
Lately, we've noticed that she's getting weaker and sweats a lot. She's a very active girl only that she gets tired easily lately.
And losing_touch our Korean credit cards were denied and there are some parts there were you have to fill in blanks which we don't have any idea what to put there. We're not speakers of English and it's hard for us to understand some intructions there. I really hope you can help us. We need these books badly.
Thank you. |

Hi, I'm sorry to hear that your niece has Addison's disease.
It is not such a rare condition that doctors don't know how to treat it. Maybe the Korean Doctor appears cold because he is not proficient in English.
Whatever it is, I'm sure there are loads of internet resources you can find. You must type "Addison's disease" or adrenal insufficiency.
The following is a basic writeup of addison's.
http://endocrine.niddk.nih.gov/pubs/addison/addison.htm
Hope you find it useful. |
