Hi,
I just wanted to see if I could get the advice of some more senior ESL teachers with regards to some programs I was going to tape before I leave Canada to bring with me for the kindys I will be teaching. Sesame Street and Mr. Rogers are shoo-ins but would The Magic School Bus, Berenstein Bears, Clifford and Sponge-Bob be too much or not enough! Thanks very, very much and I will be joining you all (or at least most of you!) in Korea this Saturday in Changwon!

I would not put Sponge-Bob in the same class with the others. Other than that, good idea. Maybe teachers could download these from the internet? |

I would definately recommend Clifford and I have two to add. They make me cringe, but maybe you can program the VCR to record them when you're not present.
Barney
and
Teletubbies.
Barney has lots of songs which the kids love (even if they drive us adults crazy,) and Teletubbies is really good for the repetition, especially for your wee little ones. |
