Hyehwa's Comfort Zone is the most approachable bar for foreigners in Hyehwa, and possible in central NE and NE Seoul. The owners and most staff speak English, there is a full bar, darts, beats and a menu.

As they did a couple years ago, Comfort Zone now offers breakfast and brunch from 10am to 5pm everyday. There is ham, eggs, toast, bacon, burritos, French toast, quesadillas, salads, sandwiches and of course other foods on their regular (night) menu. Prices for the brunch plates: 3,500 to 5,000 KRW. There are juices, teas, coffees, espresso drinks and of course a full bar.

There is an outdoor patio and many wifi signals to feed off.

To get to Comfort Zone, go to Hyehwa Station, exit 4. Turn left and walk down past CGV until you get to the intersection. Watsons will be on your right. Look across the street at the 3-story Dunkin Donuts. Go to the left and behind Dunkin Donuts, Comfort Zone is there.

That's funny because we went there for a birthday party a few weeks ago and they were closed at 430 in the afternoon. We went later that night and it was cool though..

BBTB- do Hyehwa's bars and places pay you a commission to publicise it? You and your housemate sure like it a lot...

Ha, no they don't pay a commission, but since I know the owners, get free drinks here and there, and support foreigner-friendly businesses, I'm happy to spread the word. Plus it's cheap and good food that fellow expats will enjoy.

You mean the other one in Nepal? Or Comfort Zone's sister bar, Dan Vie?
