Japanese riot grrrl/indie P-Heavy and The Lost Club Korean Tour
w/ master musik, ankle attack, stretching journey
P-heavy from Matsumoto, Japan. Sounds like early nighties riot grrrl in the same vain as Sleater-Kinney, Bikini Kill, and Bratmobile.
website: http://p-heavy.sakura.ne.jp
myspace: http://www.myspace.com/pheavy
The Lost Club: grove-able, off-kilter electronic music from Japan.
myspace: http://www.myspace.com/thelostclub
불길한 저음 (Master Musik): freak out noise from Seoul. We have been banned from playing a few venues, let's see if it will happen again this night.
website: http://www.balloonnneedle.com/mastermusik.html
youtube video with harsh video and audio:
http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=7bEjvSYIO_E
Ankle Attack: hard rockin' band from Seoul.
myspace: http://www.myspace.com/ankleattack
Stretching Journey: energetic indie rock from Seoul.
a poor quality youtube video: http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=3MAOnc6bpgI
at: Club Ssam (Ssamzie space) in Hongdae (http://ssamnet.com/liveclubssam/images/ssam_map.jpg)
This guy will be 10,000 won in advance or 15,000 at the door. If you talk to me before hand, I can probably get you in for a discount.
Show starts at 7:30.

I'd be more excited if this weren't at Ssamzie space. The venue has potential but they seriously need to get rid of those f_cking chairs and give people room to dance and groove out. |

Are there chairs everywhere these days? I've not been since some Vassline gig over a year ago. Then it was just a normal dark dingy standing only gig venue. I thought it was called Club Ssam.... so, basically is this the same place that's on the way from Hongdae to Sinchon direction? Just so I don't go to the wrong place. Cheers. |

Ssamzie Space was apparently renamed Club Ssam a while back, though I'm not sure why. I don't recall ever seeing chairs, just those sort of bleachers along the back. |
