POSCO is Korea's largest steel manufacturer. The new CEO has said that in order for employees to get a promotion they must have a TOEIC score of over 850. They are really driving hard on the English right now. It's a massive company. Don't have experience working for them directly, but I have taught a lot of their employees, who are always complaining about being overworked, but that's nothing new in Korea.
Don't know much about Pohang other than it's a massive industrial area. I'm sure other people can fill you in. Ulsan is meant to be a nice city. My boyfriend comes from there and he's always saying it's much better than Seoul, but then he has a biased opinion. |

| I`m not sure of the location, as they have 5 different schools in that Ulsan area I think. They list GwamYang and Pohang in the information they sent me, any opinions of either of those places? |

Well, I have some experience in Ulsan. 5 locations is a lot. One would think that they are likely to be spread throughout the city. I cannot comment specifically without knowing where you are talking about. Ulsan is a pretty big city, and it is constantly growing!
Generally speaking, I really like Ulsan. Every foreigner I know that lives down here is pretty pleased with the place. There is a lot of nightlife. There are plenty of other foreigners to hang out with. There are a bunch of western places to hang out. We have a beach near me! There are frequent, short buses and trains to Busan should you feel the need for some casino action or a few tacos over at Fuzzy Navel.
What do you want to know specifically? |
