|
|
I'm shopping for a backpack to travel South East Asia. I live in Ulsan and so far have not had much success finding many large backpacks with a torso length of 20.5" or 52 cm.
I've been thinking of ordering online, but I'm scared to order something and find out it doesn't fit right. However, in Ulsan, I can't find anything that fits within my torso range, being the giant that I am.
So, my two main questions are as follows:
First, does anyone know of any stores, perhaps in Busan or Seoul, that one is quite positive would carry large packs that I could check out?
Second, if there is anyone out there who has order a pack online from REI (a famous outdoor US store), how long did it take for your order to arrive?
Thank in advance. |

Pack a small rucksack to get you to SEAsia, then buy a cheap big rucksack in the city you land, then fill up said rucksack while travelling.
Unfortunately hiking in Korea's all about day hikes so packs are small and I haven't seen anywhere in Busan that sells big ones. |

I've read warnings to buying bags in Asia: cheap quality, fall apart, etc. I'm also worried I'll have the same problems as I do in South Korea, which is finding a bag that is big enough.
Think I could find a bag big enough and of good quality in Beijing? I plan to start there. |
