I'm thinking of getting it, but not sure.... if you have it, do you like it? Do you feel like you get a real workout, or is it mainly just for fun? How much did you pay for it? I saw it for 90,000 won but am wondering if I could get a better price. (That included the balance board, disk, and English disk). Thanks!

The Wii Fit is good... you can get an OK work out... if you stick with it... but if you really want to work out... Download some exercise videos... Power 90 or P90X or something like that

Wii Fit with Ballance Board is $80 at Walmart in America. So 90,000 Won sounds like a good deal.
I read an article recently that said there was another Wii game that was much better at getting fit. I can find the article; I think maybe the game was "EA Sports Active".

The balance board looks like it'd be awesome for snowboarding games.

the boxing game can be pretty good if you actually play it hard. I mean punching hard, and actually weaving back and forth rather than just flipping your wrists.

I have a question about that ballance board and the snowboard games. I wonder if anyone can help.
To turn on a real snowbaord, you "twist" the board by pushing one toe down and the other toe up (heel down). For example, with a regular stance, to turn right you push you left toe down and raise your right toe. Then once you are in the turn you would transition to being on both toes.
Is that the way the Wii ballance board snowboard games work. I have the feeling that since all it does is track the center of mass, you would just go to both toes to make a right turn.
If anyone has a snowbard game on the wii, maybe comment on the turns.
Thanks, Drew

I've got it, it's fun. I don't do it regularly enough to see any benifit . My girlfriend likes it though. My school is up a big hill, and I'm beat by the time I get home. Once I get my licence and drive every day, I intend to make it a daily thing. As for getting a better price than 90, I think you'd have to be pretty lucky.

I think turning is controlled by your back foot, which kind of makes sense since your back foot is more important in real snowboarding. I have no idea how it deals with switching stances (not that I can do this in real life anyway). I only read about the "Wii Ski and Snowboard" game, others might handle it differently.
