Hi everyone
Moving to Daegu in 7 weeks, have a quick question:
I have a Nintendo Wii that works in the UK, will it work with a S Korean television or not? Or would I have to buy some sort of adaptor?
Alternately, is it easier for me just to buy one in S Korea? If so, any idea on current prices?
Ta muchly

There are 220,000W you can use XE.com to convert that into pounds, however they do not come with Wii Sports, which oddly costs like 40,000W here (give or take).
You can get them chipped here pretty easy to play your european games. If you buy a modern LCD/Plasma I think its going to be fine for your PAL Wii. The TV should detect it. It might only be an issue if you got an old style TV. |

| I have a PAL wii from NZ, and can say from experince that adaptors suck. They give you a blurred, ghosted image. It's in color, but hardly enjoyable to look at. But, if your TV has composite input (Red, Green, Blue) then you should be able to get a good image without any adaptor. Any LCD or Plasma will be able to handle it too. One other thing about a PAL Wii, the modders here won't know what to do with it if you ever want to get it done, but soft-mods can be easily DIY-ed as long as you have an original copy of Twilight Princess. |
