|

Commuting for a total of 2 1/2 hours each day is really starting to get to me. So much so, that I am willing to risk my life by driving in Korea (not to mention fork over the dough). Hell, it can't be much more dangerous than walking in Korea. Better to be mowed down while in a car than while on foot.
I heard you can rent a car long-term. Does anyone know anything about this? |

Yes. You can rent a car for a month or longer. I personally didn't do it. But my friend did it at AVIS in Yeoksam. I rented a car for one day and then enquired about long-term rental. You can get a small car, I think a Gentra for about KRW500,000. They may even throw in a navigation set(but its in Korean). I can't remember how much my friend rented his i30 for. I think a Sonata goes for about 700-750K. The guy also allowed my friend to return his car 2-3 days later. You need a credit card and a drivers licence.
Good luck |
