Is it possible to get public school positions starting Oct/Nov or is there nothing after August? I am really interested in the positions but will not be ready to come over in August time.

| You'll probably won't get into SMOE (Seoul), but there are openings all year with GEPIK and EPIK. If you want to stay in the Seoul area, then apply with GEPIK, do your reasearch on areas nearest Seoul, and request to be placed in one of those areas. Good luck. |

Yes.
There are two main hiring periods: one for positions starting March 2 (the beginning of the school year, and one for the beginning of September (2nd semester).
However, positions are available year-round due to the fact, in most areas, they have never been able to fill all the vacancies; as well as: expiring contracts, 'runners', resignations and 'no-shows'. |
