Yah I know what you're thinking. Another lost waygook who likes a Korean.... cool! Very Happy

So.... I've known this girl for awhile now and I went to Seoul this past weekend to see her. We ended up haning out one night and all day yesterday until the last bus to my home left. Did everything in the book from riding bikes near the Han to eating ice cream, dressing up in Hanboks for the Hi Seoul Festival, Having Sashimi with her parents (this was very interesting) etc.... I've been flirty with her and I quite enjoy being around her, yata yata yata... I think I've been very respectful and "slow" in pursuing this interest and quite frankly it's starting to drive me stir crazy.
She's going to America in June and I soon after. She's booked a flight to come see me in Minneapolis for 4 days etc..... Now it turns out I'm going up to Seoul again this weekend to hangout with her and I feel kind of in a bind as to what to do. I clearly like her, but I'm not sure about the other way around. Any idea on how to find out? (stupid question I know)
She's even invited to her cousins wedding in Gimhae in a couple of weeks, which I cant go to, but would in a heart beat if I could. She wants to hangout then...... maybe I"m reading this all wrong but either I'm a really good friend or maybe she likes me?

Thoughts, comments and crazy ass remarks are welcome! Laughing

since there's obviously a natural language and culture barrier, why not just be blunt and to the point? You're obviously past the friendship level, so the worst that could happen is you ruin the friendship. Since you're no longer in it for the friendship, go for the juggular and be blunt. You've got nothing to lose.

Pass her a note that reads: Do you love me? Check one box, yes or no.

Be careful she isn't just using you as a cushion to get over to America. By cushion, I just mean support. I had something on a much smaller scale happen to me in Japan.

Also, 4 days in your home country is nothing to brag about. Find out where she will be, ask her straight out if it is ok to visit her and then the answers and truth will come. She will establish trust with teachers, and in turn that will be spread out to the female students she will bond with. Your cushion will no longer be needed.

See how she acts then.

Let's see... you've met her parents, she's invited you to a family wedding, and she's flying to visit you in the US?

If you like her I think just ONE of the above would be enough to have the DTR talk. If you're not feeling forward, bust out some Soju like the other guy suggested and get some answers.

Sounds like your in the friend zone.....I wouldn't worry about it much....just have fun and make a move...but don't get your hopes up....if something was gonna happen it would have already happened unless your both total shy klutzes.

This could work! BTW there is no language barrier. She speaks very good English. And she had plans to go to America before I met her, it's for a job not a vacation.
