Please, if you have any information on this, help me!!

I'm trying to get a new CBC while in Korea. From what I can tell, most states do the check online and let you print it off -- Virginia's requires a notarization on a form before you can even get the check. I could go to the US embassy to get that, but that would add on time and then for the apostille the notarization has to be from a Virginia notary if I want to get a Virginia apostille. I've looked at the FBI check but that would take forever.

I've searched endlessly but can't come up with anything new -- please let me know if you found a way around this problem. Local background check, check from a different state other than yours, anything!

Thank you!

oh, and i had my request form notarized by the US Embassy here, then sent it to my dad, who had his signature notarized, then he sent it to the police or whatever. it took about 2 weeks for it to get back to me. then i took it to the embassy and they watched me sign an affidavit that i was me and it was real. ta-da!
