Hey!
If you've taken such a course, what did you actually do? How much time did it actually take? And how much was it?
I am trying to find if I'll have time this summer to do such a class. |

100 hr TESOL online, company called ITTT. Took me 3 months, you have 6 months to complete it. I chose the 'with tutor' option. About 190 dollars, I did it to get a pay raise. It worked. |

So it literally takes 100 hours to do then?
I wont be working this summer and I was planning on cranking through the thing in a month. Is this possible?
is it similar to an online college course? With readings online and then online quizes at the end?
Do you ever interact with someone or is it all log in, fill out your assignments and log off?
thanks for the info I just want to make sure I'll have the thing done by the time I've told them I will. |

I did mine through KEI. 100 hours, took me around 80 hours total, and I did it in 2 months, but really only studied it for 2X 2 week blocks.
You work at your own pace. 100% online (no waiting for tutors, except for test results) and is based in Korea so makes those PS pay rises pretty easy!
100 hour course is $150

When you sign up for the ITTT online certification they email you all the lessons via email. I still have all the class material if anyone would like me to send it to them before they decide to go ahead with the course, drop me a PM with your e-mail addy if you want. |

I did the ITTT course without tutor support (I'm cheap), and it took me probably around an hour to print out all the material on the sly at my job, three hours for cursory review, and 12 hours to take the final test. That includes frequent breaks lasting an hour or longer. I probably would have taken even longer to write it except that they only give you 24 hours, so.
I got nothing out of the material except a salary level hike and the right to shiftily say, "Er, yes" when someone asks me if I have a certificate. |
