The great United are coming for a summer tour to Asia. The team website (www.manutd.com/tour) has a link to www.interpark.com for buying tickets but this is a Korean language site and even my Korean co-teacher could not find out how to purchase tickets.

I would appreciate any help on this subject.

Might want to look at Hana Bank. The last time I saw a foreign team come here to play I bought my ticket at that bank. Ask your K co-workers (male) about it.

my mate is getting married the next day in seoul so we're wanting to try and get a box but I think that will be almost impossible!

If you find out anything post it here, i'll do the same if I can get any info

OK, just been on Interpark, looks like they start selling tickets on 14th May.

not sure if that link will work.....

not quite sure on prices, it looks like there are a few options ranging from 40,000-100,000. or you could watch them training for 10,000.

Is it only Man U that is touring Korea? Sometimes a few other teams make these tours.

Just promise you won't "hooligan it up" during that game. Soccer is supposed to be fun and not a drunken brawl. Laughing

I order you NOT to watch any premier teams play in korea or any other asian country, they don't care about them places all they care about is the Millions of GBP which they will receive for playing in asia. if you buy tickets then shame on you!

There is controversy surrounding the game, in particular from FC Seoul fans. There were initially problems agreeing to the game because of a clash with a Korean domestic game vs Gwangju. It's a pretty poor show that they are reorganizing competative K-League games so that Utd can come and play a friendly.

Anyway, there is an active campaign by some Soeul fans to boycott the game. Here's the link http://sports.media.daum.net/nms/soccer/news/general/view.do?cate=23758&newsid=1259177&cp=sportalkr

Their boy might be coming back with another Champions League medal. I bet lots of Koreans will get out there even for a meaningless friendly.

But admittedly the only real use for Soccer is when you don't have any foot ball to watch. I suppose in that part of the equation manchester may not suck as much as say the Iranians Female Hockey team, but it's close.
