Teacher's day is Friday.

I want to get something for my co-teacher but not sure what to get her. I think she's like 25 years old and I think she might be from a richer family....not too sure though.

Any ideas what to get her? She's been really helpful and friendly so I'd like to get her something that's decent.

She says nothing.
She gets nothing.

Some suggestions:

1/ A bong.
2/ A Super-veiner 18" double-ended dildo.
3/ Ketamine.
4/ A 24 of beer with an invite to your apartment.
5/ A memstick full of Metallica.

I could never understand the whole idea of gift giving. I almost never give people gifts. I guess it's how I was raised. I mean, I would get a few gifts here and there, but usually my parents would say, "your gift is in your college fund. Your gift is in the bank." At the time I hated it, but I've become thankful after hearing my friends complain about all their college loans.

I cant give her a personality/work ethic. Just get her something sweet. A boxed cake from the bakery or a box of chocolates. Even a dozen Krispy Kremes would do.

Teacher's Day is for students to thank their teachrs.

It is not for co-workers to exchange gifts. If you really want to give her a gift, pick a different day such as any other day becuase it is a just cause gift.

I'm buying the office dokboki

That's about it... Sharing food makes everyone happy.

For those who are going to buy something, buy it for everyone, not just your co-teacher. If you do buy something for your co-teacher keep it small and private.

If you buy a gift only for co-teacher. You seem too insular and not willing to extend to people outside of the English Language barrier.

I am hoping I am given ricetards tomorrow.

Do you like ricetards?

Well, I work for an after school program. It's just me and my co-teacher. There's nobody else I'm in contact with.

I'll probably take one of the suggestions of buying a small cake or something like that. She's been really helpful (and even drives me home a few times a week), so I really want to show my appreciation thus far.

While I am sure, your co-worker(s) will appreciate any thoughtful gift, you will be lowering your status by declaring yourself the student in the student-teacher relationship that is ceremoniously being replicated on Teacher's Day.

If you work at a public school, your parent-teacher association should (most likely will) provide all sorts of snacks for teachers on that day (most likely rice cake).

Obviously, there is nothing wrong with giving anyone a gift but I think there will be more than a few amused people if you give it as a "Teacher's Day" gift.

I'd ask about how you tip at restaurants, but something tells me this might actually be Mr. Pink and, well, his stance on such matters is well known. Wink

Krispy Kremes are the answer.
