| Anyone here just playing the Korean World of Warcraft? I'm curious if it requires a Korean social security number to register. |

| I did, wouldn't necessarily recommend it unless you can speak Korean. I found out from talking to Koreans that if you just do your own thing and keep to yourself without talking to anyone (I can't speak Korean) people assume you are a Chinese Gold Seller and you are shunned. Still it was fun for awhile I guess, til it got lonely. |

| How did you play? Were you able to create your own account and did you need a Korean social security number to make an account? |

Just get a mate to sign you up for the western one, or buy an account....the ping isnt bad, i play everyday  |

| My wife set it up. I can only assume she had to use her Korean ID number since it seems like you need that to do anything on line here. |

Play on a free global server like dethpod.com
It's 1x Blizz everything, and the only problem is that the AH is not used enough by everyone. |

Is it possible to find WOW in English here? My dad has offered to pay my monthly subscription fees if I start playing but rather than have him buy me a copy of the game in the US and ship it over to me, it would be easier (and likely cheaper) if I could find it here.
Any suggestions? |

| buy the game in usa but dont ship it. just have them email the cd key. download the torrent and install. then create an account using the seriall key u got from the email. |

What's the population level like on that one? I've tried a couple of pirate servers before and found them deserted and with rediculous drop rates and experence. |

I believe BLizzard has a downloader where you can install the entire game on your machine. Just have someone back home email you a CD key. Hell, I bought mine on ebay and told the seller to throw the CD's away. Just email me the CD key. |

I noticed in the PC bangz they have some STRANGE UI.
And I mean everyone has it.
I'm not sure if it's some customize UI that's really popular or it comes standard on Korean WoW.
Anyone know what I'm talking about ? |

Yeah I've noticed it. Made me wonder if it was even WoW they were playing sometimes, until I started to recognise the terrain.
Screw playing on the korean servers. Why in the hell would you want to. Get a US account and play on Jubei'thos, with me  |
