I finger that this has been mentioned before but I thought I'd touch on it again since I can bank on "search" not working.

Those of you who work at public schools, have you ever gotten the message from your computer that your Microsoft software may not be legit?

Since there are thousands of people/English Teachers from around the world working here, you'd finger the Education Ministry wouldn't want everyone to easily finger out that they are likely stealing from Microsoft?

English Windows is often fake but the Korean ones never pop up with thw WGA notifications. Not surprising though.

No, but the same copy is running on multiple machines. Guess the ministry of education bought a multiple machine use for their copy. They had to pay a lot of money to MS to get this in Korean.

One of my "projects" during some off time at a hagwon was to massively plagiarize several textbooks and add a few discussion questions and activities to make a single massive photocopied reader that could be sold to the students....

And oh yeah none of the software was legit on the computer I used. It's Korea.

According to BSA, 43% of the PC software in Korea is pirated.
(See: http://global.bsa.org/globalpiracy2008/studies/globalpiracy2008.pdf)

By comparison, 20% is pirated in the U.S.

For a guy who's supposedly written a book you have to wonder. I personally say let the rest of the world eat up the cost of MS software.

Buymybook has fallen in love with his finger.

I've never seen a guy so challenged with words.
