Hello! This is my first post here.

I have tried searching for "chungcheongnamdo", and through that I've learned that there are a fair number of kiwis teaching there, not to mention a fair share of job postings for that region. Neither quite answered my curiosity, however.

To the point: I've been accepted into the 'English Program in Chungcheongnamdo, Korea'. Specifically, they wish to place me at the HongNam Elementary School in HongSeong County.

I understand that it is a smallish town, but I lived in a small town most of my life, so having nothing happen aside from weather is fine by me. I'm just wondering if any current member here has had direct experience teaching there, and working for this institution.

Congratulations! Someone made 'muster'.

Don't worry about where you're placed wihin K-kand, or for that matter Chungnam-do because you can get from any part of K-land to any other part of K-land 4.5 hours or less.... unless the moon is full (in which case it will take 3 days).

Bring your wellies... and practice saying to Mr. Kim "Sorry about your daughter".... and that 'face thing'.
