Is anyone familiar with computer shops in Seoul that carry replacement parts for Apple laptops?
If not, can you recommend a reputable shop that sells Apple stuff? Thanks! |

If your more specific about the replacement parts people might be able to help more.
For example, if you need RAM or a Hard Drive replacement there is no need to go to an apple retailer. But if you do need something apple specific, than that might be a good place to start.
There are a few apple/pc repair shops around the suin plaza in Yongson. Tompatz has made a helpful map that you can search for in these forums. Although it might be in the sticky. |

I'm looking for a replacement keyboard for my black Macbook (previous generation) as mine is a bit gunked up / funky. Hopefully some of the Apple shops in I-Park mall carry replacements. |

If you take the tunnel towards Suin plaza from the entrance around the side of E-mart you will find a repair shop that fixes apple computers around the exit.
I've never had anything repaired by him, but usually the harder to get places are a bit cheaper. Might be worth walking around and getting quotes. |

I think you'd need this:
http://www.ifixit.com/MacBook-Parts/MacBook-Santa-Rosa-Penryn-Upper-Case-with-Keyboard/IF186-044
I don't think you can buy the keyboard separately... you'll have to replace the whole top case. The price on that website is about $190. Kinda pricey!
You'll probably be able to find one in stock at a repair center somewhere. If not, I recommend iFixit. I've bought parts from them before and had great success. |
