Just two days ago there was a segment on Al-Jazeera about the recent protests in Turkey. The secular minority has to fear the religious majority. This is why we need the Dawkins types and more of them in the world. If there are more of his views in Turkey,there will be an undermining of the foundations of Islam, and less of the hey-you-can't-wear-a-headscarf type which in turn breeds more victimology. |
