I need to see a beach, and soon. Does anyone know of any secluded/quiet beaches near Seoul? I just want somewhere to go and relax and read. |

Try Jakyak Island (off the coast of Yeongjong Island), which is a short ferry ride from Incheon. It is small (about 500m long) and fairly quiet. It was the historic anchorage for both the French in 1866 and the Americans in 1871; three Americans were buried there somewhere. You can find a few pics (1871 and nowadays) here: http://www.shinmiyangyo.org/nthumbs.html |

You guys stayed overnight on the island? Were there any facilities on the island at all? How crowded was it? |

Can you provide more information on how to get there? Like do I get off Incheon subway station and look for the ferry? Is there a phone number? |
