Now see?
That's a proper debate. People who know what they're talking about disagree and do their thing.
Dave's Korea is not, nor has it ever been this kind of forum.

Funny stuff, OP.

She should be nominated for the Nancy Pelosi Truth-Tellers Award, sponsored by the liberal media outlet of your choice.

Dissembling, dowdy Dowd.

Dowd's astonishing feats of verbal memory

Maureen is claiming she remembered a verbatim quote from Marshall and forgot she had remembered it. Turns out this is nearly impossible.

I was ready to forgive her, but now I'm happy to say my prejudices are confirmed, she's a waste of a writer.

Dowd simply transcends labels of liberal or conservative. She is equally despised by both. She is a boring writer with no new insights and her attempts to put amusing spin on stories is done much better by others. Really a waste and not worth discussing, except to point out how much of the media sees themselves above the ordinary person. Dowd never tries to hide her elitism.

Yes, she might be the only NYT columnist I never read.

It is always sad to see a career come to an abrupt and dishonorable end. And add to this that we now get a few news cycles of MD being slammed (and with her "liberals") by the right wingers.

Her only real crime is for being stupid enough not to have immediately come online and said, "Oops. Poor proofreading. I should have caught the inadvertant quote. My bad. A belated thanks to Josh Marshall."
