My listening is crap, largely because I'd swallow broken glass before I consent to watching Korean dramas in order to improve my listening. Can anyone recommend some good online resources for listening? Perhaps something with documentaries and nature programmes etc? (much harder than 무한도전 admittedly, but interesting at least).
So far the Korean youtube seems to be the best option. Any other ideas? |

Well, one of my 범생이 friends has just mentioned the Sogang University website on her Facebook page. It's bloody good.

ya that website is good.
but i just can't get into any korean dramas. 무한도전 and stuff is ok except... it's hard to hear what they say... compared to the audio quality of the dramas...
if i can tear my korean friends away from their soju and pc games they're better to listen to. |

These are Korean radio stations
http://radiotime.com/genre/c_152/Korean.aspx#available[]
Also, koreanclass101.com has short dialogues. You have to register, but you can listen to current dialogues without paying for a membership. They have different skill levels. |

Oh the irony, I tune into KBS and the first sentences I hear are all Japanese. . Right now they're translating an old Korean fellow's comments about youth's attitude towards marriage into Japanese.
Thanks for the excellent link. I found a link to Korean radio stations yesterday but it wouldn't work.
Of all the Korean radio stations, which would have an approach and content most similar to NZ's National Radio or the UK's Radio Four? |
