maps.google.co.kr has a much higher zoom, and so more detail. SOmething to do with laws about HQ maps being held on Korean servers...

You have to press "map" to see the streets.

now all we need are some street names. like each street gets one name. and people actually know and use that name when referring to said street.

The streets do have names. The problem is that very few people can be bothered to use them.

I don't know if all the streets have names. Often the signs are not clearly posted or posted in odd areas. There are actually maps that have all the codes on them. So if you know it you can find places easy. Delivery places and realtors have them. I'd like to find one of those maps online. They're actually laid out fairly logically. Each block has a number 1, 2, 3, 4, etc and then each individual house has a number, so 1-5 or something like that.

it's really similar to maps.naver.com, which i use all the time for driving directions. i can't find any other way to get directions on google except by public transportation. naver gives you four options to commute by driving.

i think i'll stick with maps.naver.com, the korean interface is quite simple.

I can't use Naver maps because my Korean isn't good enough to navigate the site. maps.google.co.kr is surprisingly good, however, it would be SOOOOOOOOOO helpful if the maps themselves came with a romanized equivalent. Anyone found a site with quality street maps in Korea that has good romanized script?
