i lived near one in japan. seems like they were perpetually preparing for sports day. blowing whistles in rhythmic patterns and shouting

while little kids did their 10 meter dashes. |

It's kind of sad that you consider that noise.
In Shanghai I lived just across the street from an elementary school. Every morning students would be led through their exercises by a shrill voice played over a bad PA system. I always thought of those PA announcements as a not so subtle reminder of where I was and how lucky I was to be there. |

It's really an amazing kindergarten, as it organizes field trips, has had a petting zoo setup on its ground, and occasionally had weddings on its ground.
Is it just me or is EVERYWHERE becoming a wedding hall in Korea? |
