Hello all,
I may be offered a contract from the LCI Kids Club school in Seoul, South Korea and I was wondering if anyone had experiences there or any information about the school. It is around the Naebang station, seems pretty good so far I was just curious.

Madoka is right, but I can help you a bit with your question. I work at an LCI Kids Club, but not in Seoul. I've had a great experience teaching for them. I only saw one of their franchises on the hagwon blacklist. They seem to be pretty good.

I taught at the one in Samsung-dong (Kangnam-gu) Seoul, 5 years ago. At the time, I believe, it was the headquarters for the company. I don't know how many there are now but there is another Kids Club that they compete with and have problems with.

Generally speaking, I had no problems with them ... aside from the typical hogwan absurdity you find everywhere.

Just want to revive this thread. Have you found any more info on the school? Anyone else have anything to contribute.

I am set to teach there come July and feel fairly confident in my choice after emailing with a couple of current teachers and not seeing anything negative about this specific school on any of the ESL web site. However, at the same time, I have not seen anything good and find it weird that no former teacher has managed to post on this site or another one like it.

Help ease my worries!
