some clothes in the Busan, Ulsan and Deagu areas?
A nice suit would be great as well.............NOT talking about these cheesy, shinny suits Koreans were. I'm talking.....nice.
Shorts, shirts, sandals, etc.
Anyone have the info and location?
Thanks.

Do you have an ABC mart anywhere..sandals are great and really good quality. I bought Birkenstocks there at a good price.
HomePlushas many choices for men's sandals as well. |

Maybe Japan, Guam, Australia, New Zealand, USA, Canada, England, Ireland, Germany, and the Benelux? Sorry, can't help you much in Korea as I too am not seeing much I want to wear. I got a little bit of money going on and I too wanted to upgrade my wardrobe, but find my options dismal at best. It's pitiful. Wear cheap junk in Korea and wait until you visit someplace else is the best other than a little in Itaewon and a little on Gmarket.co.kr.
In Korea, it's either cheap wear and throw away casuals after wearing a week straight or shiny pin stripe suits you take to the cleaners. I got a nice Polo button down shirt and some cheap pants on Gmarket, but it's very limited selection of Polo for a much higher price than typical in a Western mall or eBay.
As many posters wrote, Itaewon caters to Westerners, but it's not Macy's. You can find nice casuals that are a small sampling of what Korea exports to Western markets. They also got suit guys catering to Westerners where they let you pick out your fabric, but they're annoying. I looked a month ago and the suit shop fabrics seem very thin and lightweight. |
