|

The travel sites of our travel agencies in Korea I've looked at so far are lacking functional search engines like Western travel sites have. I'm shopping to fly away this Summer, but can't do a search. Guess we have to do it the old fashioned way by calling or visiting an office. Must be a culture thing, because the technology is here to support powerful real time search engine quotes.
American sites have powerful accurate real time search engines, but are too expensive if the trip is not originating in America with some sites not even allowing you to originate a trip from outside America.
Why no search engines through agents like Kangsan, Shoestring, Unique, etc.? |

I'm just not using an agent at all. Search for where you want to go, find a cheap flight, and do research on the places you want to go. Plus you have to pay the agent more money then if you do it. Just a thought. |

EDIT: oh, in english, right, sorry.
spend 10 minutes learning the korean alphabet, or copy paste the location options it gives you into babelfish. it's a pretty easy site to figure out. |
