I am very eager to go to Busan and I have been talking to multiple recruiters. I have been offered a good job in another area and have been sent the contract. It is not in a desirable location; Yongin (i think maybe, could be wrong).
Should I let the recruiters know that I have this other contract on my mind to speed up there search for a position for me (since they get paid if they place me). or!
Would they be offended and not take my inquiries seriously?

Did you talk to multiple recruiters?

Any similar stories?

It won't make a difference!

I don't know of any recruiter in Busan that is short on applicants. They are short of jobs but flooded with applicants.

If they had a school that wanted to hire you, then you would have been offered the job already. The fact that you haven't means that they don't.

Yes, recruiters will get placed if they place you but we're talking Busan! They are going to find teachers to fill all the jobs there.

The only advice I can give is to contact the recruiter again and remind them that you're still looking for a job. That's the best advice I can offer besides taking that other job if it sounds good to you.

thanks CPJ.

I was thinking that also, since recruiters throw jobs at me left and right from other location trying to gain my interest. These are in less desirable locations outside of Seoul.

Do you work in a Busan school?

I used multiple recruiters, but I didn't tell them any other information other than where I wanted to be placed, which was close to Seoul.

Anyway, what's the advantages of Busan over Seoul? The beach/warmer weather?

multiple recruiters, check.

Seoul and Busan can be compared and contrasted, but that is not for this thread. Thanks. otherwise it will bubble up into an argument over locations.
