I really want this game but my Xbox is a U.S. one. According to playasia the Asian version is region free but there are times when the Korean version is sometimes different and will NOT work. Anyone have a U.S. xbox and bought it already? I would travel to Yongsan cause they would know but would rather just buy it locally. Any info would be great....

I downloaded it, but my firmware is out of date. Maybe I should just get that updated in Yongsan, but I have some concerns about it, as my system is North American.

Is it definitely out in Korea?

I went to Yongsan today and got my system updated. While I was there I asked about buying an original copy, and I was told it would work on my US system, and everything is in English. The one guy I asked was selling it for 57,000.

I think you'll be okay just going to Emart or wherever and picking up a copy.

Thanks I appreciate it. I actually found a card for a guy I buy games from and talked with him and he said yeah it's region free and that the Korean version will work fine. Weird because I was very close to pre-ordering it about a month ago from play-asia and at THAT time it was clearly marked NOT region free. I would've been pissed had I shelled out money for the U.S. version for nothing. I think I remember the same thing happening when I bought Soul Calibur IV, paid like 20 000 won more just for the U.S. version.
