I work for EPIK and want to re-sing for another year when my contract ends in August. Today I have to hand in a form stating if I want to change schools and if so a desired location.

I have been to Sokcho several times and I really like it there. I would like to hear from anyone who lives there what is it like in the long-term. I am not bothered about night life so much.

My questions are:
- Where in the city do most foreign teachers live?
- Are there many foreigners around?
- What day trips are feasable from Sokcho?
- Does Sokcho come under the 'rural allowance' for EPIK?

Any other info would be great. What kind of experience have you had there?

Thanks you folks.
