Just got an offer from SMOE and have two questions:
In the past I've given my original university diploma but now they ask for an apostilled copy. Any idea on how I go about that?
Also I got some documentation that I can be exempted from paying SK income tax "in my first two years." However I taught in SK from 2006-2008 at a hagwon. Would I still be exempt if this is my first year at a public school?
Thanks. |

Unfortunately, I don't have an answer to either of your questions, however I'm a similar position (webcam interview tomorrow and from what I read, I too need to hand in an apostilled copy of my diploma: WHAT B.S. IS THAT HUH!?!)
I assume you are here in Korea like me...
Does anyone know how to go about getting this done for us here in Kland?
God, my head hurts each time I go through this findmuck procedure. I've been working here for over 5 years and you'd figure they'd simplify the darned process and make us do it ONCE and ONCE only. 5 times and counting...if I was to stay here for another 15, I bet I'd have to do it 15 more times...
