I went to immigration to and did some checking. My employer has not cancelled my visa yet, and I have not no violations from immigration on my record. So all I have to do is get the visa cancelled and I will ok to do a visa run to Japan. If I want to transfer to an academy I will have to submit all my documents again. I already have a criminal record check that is under 6 months old, and I have not left the country. I have with me sealed transcripts, but I had them sent to me in 2007. I got a pack of 5 just so i don't have to get new ones every year. Do I have to submit updated transcripts? If so what for? It's not like my grades are going to change. Do they have an expiry date on sealed transcipts?
I don't want to go through anymore problems when i submit my documents. |

I submitted last December with my transcripts and they were at least a few years old. I think you are safe as long as they are SEALED with a some official looking seal. You might want an extra copy or two of your transcript if you can as at times the Korean officialdom likes extras. |
