These things used to be 600,000 new, and then Samsung jacked the price up to over 750,000 average.

Far too much to pay for one of those things. If I decide I need one, I'll buy one when I go home this next summer.

I agree.

The current Samsung price is outrageous.

However, if you look online at GMarket, it is possible to buy the NC10 here, in Korea, at 550,000 won and it will have the Korean/Romanized keyboard.

In the United States, this is keyboard not provided on the market.

Yeah, I am also in the market and after searching around have decided on a Samsung netbook. The prices here are just insane. It's liking buying a sandwich at the airport! Do they, Samsung, realize that in the US the same netbook is about half the price? I'm definitely buying mine online and having it shipped! On a related note, does the wireless broadband modem you can purchase in the US, work on Korean neyworks?

When you purchase from abroad and get it shipped here, are you having any trouble with customs. Or is the netbook still cheaper with the customs tax added.

With regards to the Samsung Netbook, you'll still save about $200 (US) even after getting hot with customs. There is the off chance they won't catch you with customs. When I had my new Vaio shipped last year, a $1600 laptop, I didn't pay a cent to Korea. I was lucky!
