Hello,
So my recruiter just sent me an E-2 Visa Number. Does this mean I now have my visa and do not need to fill out the visa application form in Canada? Do all I need now is the interview with the consulate?
Thanks. |

I'm irritated that your recruiter hasn't explained this to you already.
Your visa number is the number that you put on the application form to show the embassy that you have secured a job in Korea. Check out your embassy website for a step by step guide on what to do next - you'll need to hand in your application with your passport and payment, and then likely be called back for an interview.
The 'visa' that people refer to here is a physical document that is placed in your passport - that process happens at the embassy.
Good luck! |

Okay, thanks.
Also there is a section on the visa application where it says:
Provide the place where the applicant plans to stay in Korea. For working visa applicants, print the recruiters contact number plus mailing address, e-mail address, and website (if available).
My recruiter said they don't have an address for me yet and just put the school as where I would be staying.
Is this normal?? |
