Hi guys,
I have my interview with EPIK today. My first choice is Busan, but I heard it is full. So I am not sure which city to go with , now. I am hoping for another coastal city, but I don't want to be stuck somewhere boring. Can anone recommend me another coastal city or big/mid-size city that I could have good time there? I am looking to be near the mountains and beaches but also a place with a good nightlife and culture. Thank you.

Personally I think all other cities fade in comparision to Seoul. I thought Busan was pretty boring and the people there are not as educated as you find in Seoul. But outside of Seoul I'd definitely move to Jeju island. It's gorgeous there and has it's own special culture. Nice beaches, turquoise water, palm trees, hiking, waterfalls and tons of activities to do. You can go horseback riding, go-karting, to a driving range, ATVs, many things...
And during the summer you can go to the edge of Halla Mountatin where the trail begins and sleep outside. In the morning you will find lots of deer around you, maybe even licking your hand!
The only negative thing is it is an island..so you're kind of trapped but getting to the mainland is very cheap and fast by plane.
On the mainland, I'd probably choose to live in Incheon because of it's proximity to Seoul, the sea and the airport.
