My name, address, picture, and email is up on a recruiters website. I have called (no answer), and emailed them to remove my information.

Any other suggestions on how I can do this?

I have had prompt replies when asking to be removed from recruiter websites.

Sometimes, it helps to mention that having your profile continue to stay up on their website may result in damage to your reputation with your current employer and possibly losing your job if the employer decides you're still job hunting. This "loss of reputation" & "loss of income" point tends to carry more weight in Korea, I find.

This also works particularly well when you never explicitly gave permission for them to put up your photo in the first place: i.e. they copied it out of your resume, rather than using a file you provided.

When you email the recruiter, be sure to reference the specific page address with your info on it. Since some recruiters don't really understand how easy it is to remove something from their site, make their job as easy as possible by describing step by step what needs to happen. For example:

Quote:
1. My information is still being shown on your website at http://www.recruiter.com/profiles/RuffledFeathers.asp
2. My resume is still on your web server at http://www.recruiter.com/profiles/Resume0903.doc
3. Please contact your webmaster
4. Please ask your webmaster to delete the files in #1 & #2

Why do want it off there--so you can continue ripping off other teachers with impunity?

The other poster is right. Just email them (with the profile number...or the actual hyperlink) and tell them to do it.

Instead of mentioning a loss of reputation, say you like their agency and you will recommend your teaching friends to them if they remove your profile.
