I tried doing a search on this but didn't get too far. Apologies also in advance if am resurrecting old topics from the dead, I guess I'm new to all this and would like some sound advice.

I'm thinking about doing a summer camp in S.Korea this summer, I'm gonna be out in S.E Asia this summer for two months (flying in and out of Vietnam, doing a spot of travelling through Vietnam through July, then pretty much want to see what'll happen), and figured that by doing a four week camp it'd be a good introduction to efl work and a whole load more interesting than what I do at the moment.

Okay, so I've emailed a few ads and heard back from a few companies. Some seemed promising and I've been told that I'd hear back in a few days. I have the credentials for it, I reckon. Degree educated, undertaking tefl...

Can anyone advise me on good, reputable schools or websites I can apply directly to. My experiences with agencies in the past (not efl related) is dire and I'd rather just contact schools directly. Also, what kind of time frame are we looking at to get interviews sorted? "A few days" seems to have led into a week and not feels ambiguous; I'd like to get something sorted before I fly to Vietnam. What are peoples' views and experiences of summer schools? It just feels like the possible leads I may've had are starting to dry up. But that just may be my impatience at wanting to get it sorted sooner rather than later.

Failing all of the above, I might just teach in south east Asia if that so warms me cockles. We'll see.

Any advice/tips is massively appreciated.

Katie.
